Founder & Owner
Michele Damiano
Michele Damiano, the owner and founder of La Delizia, is a passionate restaurateur from Naples with over four decades of experience in the hospitality industry. His journey began in 1982 with his first venture, a coffee shop called Il Cappuccino in Chelsea Farmers Market. Building on this success, he opened the first La Delizia restaurant in 1984, followed by La Delizia 1986, which remains a beloved establishment to this day. With his Neapolitan roots influencing his approach to authentic cuisine, Michele has continued to expand his business, recently extending La Delizia 1986 into the neighboring space and preparing to launch a new café. His dedication to quality food and warm hospitality has cemented his reputation as a respected figure in the restaurant industry.
